Halle Bailey is rightfully everywhere now with the release of The Little Mermaid Live Action. And her outfits have been, quite honestly, perfect. Let’s take a tour of some Halle Bailey press looks these past few months in the run up to the official release of The Little Mermaid.
Event Looks
Met Gala
If I hadn’t been used to it with some of Chloe’s looks, I would’ve fallen out of my chair seeing Halle’s hair (let’s not lie, about fell off my chair with this look anyway). Here, she is styled by her trusted stylist, Trinisha Meeks of Sparkle Hair Imports, who often styles both sisters in a gucci dress.
Disneyland
Here Halle is performing her rendition of “Part of Your World” at Disneyland. Her dress and hair styling is very Disney princess-esque. What really stands out is the performance and camera work here! She really looks to be under the sea at the end of the video.
Halle at the White House
Say what! Yes, that White House. here she read the Little Mermaid to children. Her hair styled into long box braids with a cute bun on top.
Magazine Looks
British Vogue Magazine
Is it me or is Halle looking very much like Willow Smith here? Either way, the make up, hair and clothing style are done very nicely for her Vogue cover. The bangs almost look like clip on bangs on top of her locs. There has been some talk that Halle may be combing out some of her locs, but to me, that doesn’t look like what is happening with her bangs. The rest of her hair looks like a braided mix of her locs and extensions.
Ebony Magazine
Who doesn’t love sparkles? Halle is looking very carefree in this gucci look on the beach. Click the article to read more on her interview on filming. Premiere Looks
London Premiere
Here Halle is in a timeless all white look at the London Premiere. What really sets this look apart are the details. The design of the dress looks like white clam shells, which may not sound elegant, but it sure is here. The headpiece and pearl earrings tie the whole look together.
Sydney Premiere
The Sydney Premiere was the last look of the press run. Like many of her other premiere looks, this was very on brand with the classic ocean blue. We can see the peak of her curly extensions through her braided updo.
Los Angeles Premiere
Last but not least – the dress. This dress was actually the first one on the premiere tour, and Halle sure made a statement with it. It is totally reminiscent of waves splashing on the rocks and reminds you of that iconic scene from the animated version of The Little Mermaid. Like how can you not be excited about Halle and The Little Mermaid after seeing this? Big props to Valdrin Sahiti for this one of a kind look.

I am sure it has been a whirlwind for Halle leading up to this movie release. I am tired just looking through this. However, it is very exciting, and we will all eagerly await to see what is on the horizon for her along with any Halle Bailey press looks that come along with it!
